Why? Well it means that those women (who have always had adhd) are finally being recognised with it, and not being ignored like they used to be, and getting the help they deserve and need!
There has probably always been the same number of woman with adhd, but because of the stigma and falsehoods…
THE INCREASE IN WOMEN BEING DIAGNOSED WITH ADHD IS NOT A BAD THING!

“Off day” from the adderall meaning I took half a pill verses my 20mg/day. Because I have a slight heart palpitation I take blood pressure meds which cause constant muscle spasms in my legs. The only thing to cure that is to eat a banana (my least favorite food) but I just blend the banana into a smoothie (one of my favorite things).
It’s been raining on and off during the day and since I’ve started to really organize my life I was able to rest somewhat peacefully. I wasn’t worried about piles of laundry or dust on shelves because I’m taking care of those things on a schedule. It was nice to let my brain have an “ommmm” meditative type of day rather than an “AHHH FIX IT ALL!” day.
I’m trying to find a way to get my mother to stop feeling guilty.
No one is at fault here.
